Volvo Penta TMD22 Oil Filter

Volvo Penta fitted two different oil filters to the TMD22 engine range.

• Option 1 (Early) for TMD22A, (1993 to 1995) engine version (Perkins)
• Option 2 (Late) for TMD22B and 'MD22P-C (1997 to 2002)' engine versions (Bosch)

Note that the 'early' versions of these engines have a filter that screws down on to the housing from above, whilst the 'later' versions have a filter that screws up to the housing from below.
