Perkins 4.108 Starter Solenoid 100 Amp

Quality aftermarket starter solenoids from Prestolite suitable for Perkins 4.108 inertia type starter motors fitted to automotive' or a marine engines.

• Our automotive version is suitable for applications where the base of the unit is 'grounded' to the negative electrical supply (e.g. vehicle chassis).
• Our marine version for Perkins 4.108 is a high quality, 12V solenoid rated to 100 amps continuous and 600 amp intermittent load, making it more than sufficiently robust for starting this range of engines. It is electrically 'isolated', which means that it has both positive and negative terminals on the solenoid itself (rather than being 'earthed' via the base). Along with being waterproofed and also having a stainless steel base, this all makes this solenoid ideal for the rigors of marine use. The unit has height of 55 mm, width of 50 mm and hole centres on the base at 55 mm apart. Terminal studs are M8 for the Battery (+) and M5 for the +/- switch connections.
