Volvo Penta MD2010 Heat Exchanger Repair Kit
The cast iron heat exchanger casing on these engines is robust, but corrodes and eventually leaks where the brass filler neck is bonded to the casing. A new heat exchanger is prohibitively expensive and we have therefore put together a comprehensive kit that will enable you to repair your existing casing using a new filler neck and high quality 'cold weld' epoxy. Basic workshop tools will be needed to carry out a successful repair and the annotated guide above shows the process.

- X1 brass heat exchanger neck
- x1 heat exchanger cap
- x1 packet of JB Weld epoxy (excellent stuff, with plenty left over for other jobs!)
- x1 Heat exchanger gasket and seal
