A top quality aftermarket Volvo Penta extra Alternator (no pulley included), 12 volt, 70 amp, 'isolated earth', direct replacement alternator to fit the following Volvo Penta engines:

  • D2-40
  • D2-40B
  • D2-40F

*Please note that this is usually used as an AUXILIARY alternator on these engines.

We include in the kit a packet of the correct electrical spade connectors and also a wiring diagram to help with fitting.

These alternators are manufactured by Prestolite Electric, USA based and a world leader in automotive charging systems. They come with a standard 12 month warranty.
