Important Information:
The rear crankshaft rope seal is a well-known weak point on Perkins 4.99, 4.107, 4.108 AND 4.154 engines and is prone to premature oil leaks. This is particularly common in marine installations where the engine is installed at an angle.
Our repair seal is manufactured from advanced braided PTFE material and has been developed to provide a significant improvement over the original rope seal design.
