Checking Piston Ring Gaps

When replacing pistons or piston rings, checking the correct ring gap is crucial for proper performance and engine longevity. To check,  inset the piston rings into the cylinder bore (25mm depth) and measure the gap with a feeler gauge. Refer to the workshop manual to find the correct gap.
