Technical Information:
Calorifier connectors are used on marine installations where the engine's coolant circuit is used to heat the onboard hot water supply, such as water for sinks and showers. Coolant hoses connect directly to the calorifier connectors, allowing engine coolant to circulate between the engine and calorifier, where heat from the coolant is transferred to the fresh water.
Our circulation pumps are supplied with blanking plugs pre-fitted. If a calorifier is fitted, these can be removed and replaced with the calorifier connectors. For standard industrial applications, the blanking plugs can remain in place.
