The Perkins 4.248 standard rocker cover gasket is made from cork. Our Repaird rocker cover gasket has been specially manufactured for us from 100% silicone. This Repair provides a long lasting gasket that is less likely to deform and has the added benefit of being oil and fuel resistant. It is also reusable which means that you do not need to replace it when adjusting valve clearances.
